SleepBot

Falling Asleep

Using the SleepBot app, students can choose from a selection of ambient noise to help them fall asleep. They can use the “Sleep Help” list with easy actions and suggestions geared toward winding down and preparing the body and brain to rest, such as what foods to avoid before bedtime.

Sleep Tracking

SleepBot is able to record movement and noise throughout the night. It tracks sleep patterns through light, deep, and REM cycles and uses that information to wake you up during a light sleep phase. The data is recorded in long-term trend graphs showing length of rest, sleep/wake time, and patterns of sleep quality. Data can be analyzed to show average sleep, sleep debt, and more.

Waking Up

SleepBot has the capability to wake you up during a light phase of your sleep cycle when it is easiest to get out of bed. Users program “Smart Wake Up” for a gradual alarm based on movements and noise that goes off within 30 minutes before the first alarm. For reluctant risers, SleepBot allows users to set multiple alarms.

Best of all – the app is free! It is available for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. It’s also available on Google Play.
