1. What drew you to this work?

I love working one on one with my students and clients, helping them make strides towards their own goals and forming new habits. I always think of John Dewey’s quote, “Arriving at one goal is the starting point of another.” From building self-advocacy to developing organizational habits that stick, each partnership is its own living and adaptive journey.

2. What strengths or skills do you bring to your work with students and families?

The two pillars of my approach are relational and goal oriented. The first step with each partnership is to establish trust and strong communication. Beyond this, I continually come back to the goals that guide our work together, being sure that we are taking steps in the right direction, or adjusting course if necessary.

3. What can students expect when working with you?

I genuinely enjoy working with each client. My hope is that they leave the space feeling productive, valued and excited to keep going.

4. What’s something you enjoy outside of work?

In the warmer months, I love being outside – whether it be going for an easy bike ride or reading a book by the pool. By contrast, I spend the colder months counting the days until spring – or planning a trip to a warmer climate. :)
