Thinking Organized is a dynamic practice consisting of Speech-Language Pathologists and Educational Mentors servicing clients in MD, DC, and VA in-person and virtually. Our practice is growing, and we are looking for an Educational Mentor to join our team.
About the Position:
- Provide direct, 1:1 services to elementary through college students and adults with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and/or other learning challenges
- Meet with clients at our office in Chevy Chase, MD, at a client’s school, or virtually to provide direct services
- Maintain relationships with parents and families through frequent communication of client progress
- Read neuropsychological reports and use this information to develop specialized treatment plans for clients
- Write annual reports summarizing K-12 and college student progress
- Manage client appointments and scheduling via Microsoft Outlook and our practice management software system, Central Reach
- Evening work hours are required

About You:

Extensive experience coaching, teaching, or tutoring K-12, college students and/or adults

Experience supporting students or clients with organization, time management, and studying strategies and knowlege of how to model and implement these strategies
- Have an enthusiastic and engaging work style
- Punctual, organized, and a team player. We are a close-knit team!
- Reliable personal transportation or ability to get to and from our office and/or a client’s school on public transportation (our office is on the Red Line metro)

SAT/ACT/PSAT/SSAT experience is a big plus!

Knowledge of high school math and/or science is a big plus!
- A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is highly preferred
