Thinking Organized partners with schools to deliver customizable programs that help students build the executive functioning strategies they need to succeed academically. Our team works directly with school leaders to design sessions that align with curriculum goals, student needs, and scheduling requirements.
Programs are typically offered as summer workshops with optional fall or spring extensions. Each program is led by experienced speech-language pathologists and executive functioning specialists.
Focus areas may include:
- Organizing physical and digital materials
- Managing time and setting daily or weekly goals
- Taking notes and annotating effectively
- Initiating and completing multi-step tasks
- Planning for homework, tests, and projects
- Developing a structured approach to writing
- Practicing active study techniques
- Understanding academic expectations and advocating for support
Programs can be adapted by grade level and run in formats such as one- or two-week intensives, 3 hours per day. We work closely with schools to ensure sessions are aligned with school-wide priorities and reinforce key skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
