Hallie is a speech-language pathologist who previously lived in Massachusetts. Before Thinking Organized, she worked at Windham Woods School in Windham, NH, a school that focuses on a hands-on approach for students with a wide variety of learning profiles, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and anxiety. Hallie has experience working with clients from preschool through college on executive functioning, receptive and expressive language, and social pragmatics. She has supported students and clients by teaching strategies and tools to support schedule management, the organization and planning of written paragraphs and essays, keeping track of homework and academic assignments, note-taking, and the organization of both physical and digital materials. Hallie enjoys getting to know her clients personally and creating activities that are fun for the client while helping them achieve their goals.

Madeline is a speech-language pathologist and has been with Thinking Organized since 2021. She has worked with clients from kindergarten through college with a variety of executive functioning or language-based needs. At the middle, high school, and college levels, Madeline has worked with students with executive functioning needs to better manage their time and stay on top of their academic responsibilities. Examples include setting up material organization systems in physical binders or online folders and creating work and study plans on a nightly basis to set realistic and manageable goals. From a language standpoint, Madeline has worked with young students on strengthening phonological awareness and thus introducing the reading and writing processes. She has worked with elementary through college students on written language organization by following all steps of the writing process (e.g., brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising).

Stephanie brings ten years of classroom experience to her work supporting students in developing the executive functioning skills they need to become more confident and independent learners. She knows firsthand how explicitly teaching these skills can impact academic performance, from planning and managing assignments to organizing ideas and breaking down complex tasks. Stephanie helps students strengthen their executive functioning skills by teaching them how to break assignments into manageable steps, develop plans for challenging work, and create routines that support greater independence. Her experience as a classroom teacher and her background in literacy have deepened her understanding of how executive functioning skills influence the way students read, write, and learn. Stephanie enjoys helping students develop these skills by teaching them how to approach challenging texts, annotate effectively, and organize their ideas before writing. Stephanie loves seeing the “aha!” moment when students discover that the right strategies can change the way they approach learning.

Since 2014, I’ve worked with Thinking Organized as an Executive Functioning Coach. In sessions, I teach clients how to plan ahead, write effectively, initiate challenging tasks, and more. I have a special interest in working with individuals who have anxiety and/or depression, where we work together to determine best strategies to understand and manage their stressors and the impacts that these have on both their academic and personal lives. Additionally, I have ample experience helping students navigate the college application process and adjust to the heightened expectations of university life. In my work with middle and high school students, I emphasize the importance of advocacy and independence so that they are better prepared to manage future academic rigors

Sarah is a speech-language pathologist who is thrilled to be joining the Thinking Organized team in August 2025. Previously, she worked at a clinic founded by Dr. Bonnie Singer, where she helped clients become more organized and confident learners through the use of self-talk routines, graphic organizers, and visual strategies. Sarah has worked with clients from preschool through high school with a variety of learning profiles and diagnoses, including ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and autism. She has supported clients by teaching them strategies and routines for paragraph and essay level writing, reading comprehension, homework management, note-taking, and studying. She has also helped clients strengthen their written and oral language skills by teaching them about the patterns of language, and how they can use these patterns to help them express their ideas more clearly. In addition, she has taught clients how to use visual tools to improve their prioritization and planning skills. Sarah enjoys getting to know each and every one of her clients and helping them achieve their goals in a supportive, positive learning environment.

Rosie has been with Thinking Organized since 2020, starting as the Operations Coordinator and now serving as the Director of Operations. In her role, she helps new clients navigate the intake process, supports special programs, and works closely with Rhona to make sure everyone who comes through our doors feels cared for and supported. She also handles scheduling, helps onboard new team members, and is always looking for ways to make things run more smoothly behind the scenes. Rosie is often the first person clients hear from, and she’s always happy to answer questions or point you in the right direction.

Iris has been with Thinking Organized since 2022, and is the Operations Assistant. Before joining TO, Iris worked in the education and health care fields.

Founder of Thinking Organized, Rhona M. Gordon is an ASHA certified speech and language pathologist with more than thirty years of experience recognizing and treating language-based difficulties in children and adults. Rhona began her career teaching at the university level. She was the director of the Speech and Hearing Clinic and taught Normal Language Development to undergraduate students. Rhona then wrote the curriculum for the self-contained language classes that were run in the Montgomery County Public Schools. In addition to working directly with students, she has served as a consultant to public and private schools in the Washington, D.C. and New York metropolitan areas. Rhona has a Maryland license in Speech-Language Pathology.
